FINNISH LUKIO AND HIGH SCHOOL

Eira High School offers the possibility for students who are registered at Eiran aikuislukio to study lukio courses in English. The core of the High School programme leads towards the same High School leaving certificate - lukion päätötodistus as on the aikuislukio.

It is possible for students to take a course in English but complete the course test in Finnish. Students wishing to take this option should inform the course tutor at the start of the course.

The High School offers an international dimension to normal Finnish lukio studies through a series of internationally recognised upper secondary school qualifications administered by Cambridge University, you can find out more on the Cambridge examinations website.

Voit suorittaa osan lukion kursseista myös englanniksi. Englanniksi voi käytännössä suorittaa kaikki muut lukion kurssit paitsi äidinkielen ja ruotsin. Opiskelija, jonka äidinkieli ei ole suomi, voi suorittaa äidinkielen sijasta lukion suomi toisena kielenä oppimäärän. Ruotsista voi saada vapautuksen, jos on opiskellut ulkomailla, eikä ole lukenut ruotsia peruskoulussa. (Anomus rehtorille)
