Eiran aikuislukio is called Eira High School for Adults. It is the largest school for adults in Finland with about 2 500 full and part time students.
The school offers lower secondary and upper secondary curriculum leading to the Finnish national matriculation examination (ylioppilastukinto). In addition it offers the tuition in English leading to the AICE Diploma issued by Cambridge University. Courses in English are open to all students.
Each student at the school has his or her own goals and our task is to helm then reach these goals.
The Study Guide offers general information on the organisation of the school and its rules.
Course Descriptions contains information on all courses including content, aims and objectives. It also shows which courses are compulsory and which course compatibility with those on the Finnish side.
Guide to High School Studies (formerly AICE info) deals specifically with such studies and the requirements for taking the AICE Diploma. It also contains information for students on the Finnish side who wish to take some AICE courses.
There is also literature in Finnish such as the Opiskeluopas, Lukion Kurssitarjotin and Abi info for the matriculation examination.
